Eight Line Wrasse Pseudocheilinus octotaenia They can become very aggressive as they age especially towards smaller and passive fish.  When housed with the correct tank mates they are a fantatic choice as they will readily search out zoa eating nudibranch, bristle worms, and other reef pests.


We have ONE Hawaiian Eight Line Wrasse Pseudocheilinus octotaenia that was collected PRIOR to export closure, that is the fish you will recieve we only have ONE.

    SPECIAL NOTE: Pseudocheilinus hexataenia are fantastic reef safe addition in small to larger.  TAKE NOTE OF POSSIBLE AGGRESSION

    Natural Ecology: Pseudocheilinus hexataenia are found exploring the reefs of the Indo Pacific.  This fish is found exploring the nooks of the reef rock outcrops looking for small inverts and small soft bodied critters.


    Aquarium Size : 40 GALLON MINIMUM




    Feeding: Plankton, blended Mysis shrimp, baby brine shrimp, pellet (occassionaly) and flake.


    Aggression: Aggresive; This species is often very passive towards Tangs and other more aggressive species.  Yet, can become problematic as they age for passive and smaller fish as well as other non aggressive wrasse and SMALL gobies.
